Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They give our students the opportunity to build confidence, connect with others, and celebrate their progress. Many of our events are led by our student leaders and supported by our dedicated staff, reflecting the strong sense of pride and collaboration within our community. Our active P&C also plays an important role, attending and supporting a wide range of events throughout the year. These occasions provide valuable opportunities for families to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Multicultural day
Date: Annually in Term 1
Our annual Multicultural Day is a vibrant celebration of the diverse cultures that make up our school community. Students and families share their heritage through colourful cultural dress, delicious food stalls, and captivating performances. The day promotes understanding, inclusion, and pride in our rich cultural diversity. It is a highlight on our school calendar each year.
School spirit week
Date: Annually in Term 2
School Spirit Week is a week filled with activities that celebrate connection, creativity, and pride in our school community. Led by the SRC, and supported by our House Leaders and Prefects, the week brings students together through friendly competitions, themed days, and special events including Variety Day that showcase teamwork and school pride. It’s a fun and energetic celebration of what makes our school community unique.
Walkathon
Date: Annually in Term 3
Our annual Walkathon is a much-loved school tradition that combines fun, fitness, and fundraising. Students walk from the school to the Nepean River, where they enjoy a BBQ, games, and time with friends. Each year, the event features a different theme which is chosen by student vote. Recent themes have included Disney, Rhyme Without Reason, and Retro. The Walkathon is a wonderful way to build school spirit while raising funds to support school initiatives.
Open night
Date: Annually in Term 4
Our annual Open Night is a wonderful opportunity for the community, future students, and prospective families to experience all that our school has to offer. The evening features a formal welcome, followed by interactive displays and stalls showcasing our diverse academic programs, co-curricular opportunities, and student achievements. Current students and staff proudly lead tours and demonstrations, highlighting the vibrant learning culture and strong sense of community that define our school.
Penrith in Performance
Date: Annually in Term 4
Penrith in Performance is a celebration of our students’ creativity, talent, and dedication to the performing arts. Held at Verbrugghen Hall, University of Sydney's Conservatorium of Music, the event features an inspiring afternoon of music, drama, and dance. From captivating solo performances to stunning ensemble pieces. This showcase highlights the passion and hard work of our students, supported by our dedicated staff and families, and reflects the vibrant artistic spirit of our school community.
The 12 days of Christmas
Date: Annually in Term 4
Led by our SRC, the 12 Days of Christmas is a festive favourite that brings joy and celebration to the end of the school year. Over twelve days, students enjoy a range of fun activities including candy cane deliveries, Santa photos, and a classroom decorating competition. The event spreads holiday cheer across the school and highlights the creativity and community spirit of our students.
