Overview of Faculty

The History Faculty at Penrith Selective High School is made up of highly qualified, experienced and expert teachers who have a love for the subjects they teach; deep, wide and current knowledge;  and a strong commitment to student learning.

Learning programs are designed to be concept focussed and differentiated, intellectually stimulating and challenging, relevant to Australian society and the world beyond, and encouraging of students to be independent learners.

Student learning is characterised by critical and creative thinking and the ability to develop and sustain well-constructed arguments supported by detailed evidence through technology aided research.
