Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools and has a comprehensive Bring Your Own Device program for our students. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
Our school features a dedicated Yarning Circle which is an inclusive, culturally rich space designed to foster open dialogue, reflection, and connection. The Yarning Circle encourages respectful communication, where students and staff can share experiences, listen deeply, and learn from one another. This unique space provides a platform for diverse voices, promoting empathy, understanding, and cultural awareness. Whether used for class discussions or personal reflection, the Yarning Circle serves as a powerful tool for building relationships and celebrating the richness of our shared stories.
Our playground and outdoor areas are designed to provide students with a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for play, relaxation, and social connection. With expansive grassed areas, there’s plenty of room for free play, group games, and outdoor learning. The playground features shaded zones and covered seating areas, offering students protection from the elements and spaces to gather with friends.
Unique additions to our playground like our giant chess set encourage strategic thinking and interactive fun during breaks. Whether students are looking for active play or a quiet spot to unwind, our thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces cater to a wide range of needs, promoting wellbeing, creativity, and a strong sense of community.
Our school boasts six fully equipped, science labs designed to foster curiosity, innovation, and hands-on learning. Each lab is tailored to support a wide range of scientific disciplines, from biology and chemistry to physics and environmental science. Students are encouraged to engage in meaningful experiments, problem-solving activities, and real-world applications of scientific principles. These labs not only enhance the classroom experience but also inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and researchers.
Our purpose-built Table Tennis Stadium is a hub for skill development, friendly competition, and physical activity. The stadium features multiple high-quality tables in a spacious, outdoor setting. With ample room for practice and tournament play, students can refine their technique, improve coordination, and enjoy the fast-paced nature of the sport. The stadium supports lunchtime activities, inter-school competitions, and extra-curricular programs, fostering both individual growth and team spirit in a fun, inclusive environment.
Our school is equipped with a variety of high quality sports facilities to support both individual and team activities. The football field (Hector McGregor Oval) is the centrepiece of our outdoor sports area, offering a large, well-maintained space for practice and competition. For those who enjoy team sports, we have two outdoor basketball courts, three volleyball courts, a netball court, and a dedicated hockey field. Each space is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop their athletic skills in a supportive, active environment.
Our school's gymnasium is fully equipped for indoor sports, fitness training, and physical education classes, offering a versatile space for activities ranging from gymnastics to volleyball and basketball. For cricket enthusiasts, we also have a specialised cricket net to hone batting and bowling techniques. These facilities are an integral part of our school’s commitment to encouraging physical activity, teamwork, and healthy competition among students.
Our two-level library is a hub for study, collaboration and resources. The upper mezzanine is a dedicated senior study area with access to senior curriculum materials. The main level features a collaborative study space with writable tabletops as well as two fully equipped discussion rooms available for student bookings. Staffed by our Teacher Librarian, Library Administrative Officer and Technology Support Officer, the library offers laptop loans, a colour copier and a wide range of physical resources including fiction, non-fiction and a comprehensive manga and graphic novel collection.
Our school features generous grassed areas where students can relax, play or connect with friends during recess and lunch. Covered picnic tables provide shade and protection from the elements, making these spaces comfortable year-round. These outdoor areas aren’t just for breaks, teachers frequently use them for alternative learning sessions to encourage fresh thinking, collaboration and creativity in an open environment.
Our purpose-built Visual Arts and Design spaces cater to both creative exploration and specialised learning. The design studio is equipped for drawing, painting, digital design and mixed media work, while our kiln supports ceramics and sculpture programs. These spaces provide students with the tools, technology and inspiration to develop and showcase their artistic skills across a range of mediums.
Our school has two dedicated drama spaces designed for performance and production. Our spaces are equipped with lighting and sound capabilities to support rehearsals and showcases. One space features tiered seating, creating an authentic audience experience for class performances and events.
